Anna spent her childhood frolicking in the Gulf of Mexico, picking up shells and fishing with her older brother.
Anna likes to think of her paintings as character studies and often finds her inspiration on the coast, digging through old photographs, magazines, vintage clothing, and antique parlors.
Her paintings are fabricated right out of her imagination, and are in a constant state of flux; a beautiful exploration. She creates her own realm of femininity using paint, color, fabric, photographs, and anything else that strikes her fancy. She is best known for her expressive portraits of women. Anna received a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
