Anna’s work is a colloquy between imagination and intuition.   She likes to think of her paintings as character studies and often finds her inspiration digging through old photographs, magazines, vintage clothing, and antique parlors.
Her paintings are fabricated right out of her imagination, and are in a constant state of flux; a beautiful exploration.  She creates her own realm of femininity using wax, paint, color, fabric, photographs, and anything else that strikes her fancy. She is best known for her expressive portraits of women. Anna received a BFA from the Savannah College of Art and Design.  She lives and works in San Diego, California.
